The USA Wushu-Kungfu Federation (USAWKF) is hosting its National Championships and Team Trials at the Lubbock Civic Center throufh Sunday. The tournament will showcase Sanda, Taolu, Wing Chun, and other martial arts styles from across the country. So cool this is in Lubbock!

The Hale Center Owls finished 2nd in their pool in the Dave Campbell's 7 on 7 State Championships advancing to play Friday. The Owls lost to Trinity 33-27 and Ganado 33-13, but beating Goldthwaite 26-14 pushed them into 2nd. Hale Center will play Wolfe City 8am tomorrow.
