I dont think that token price should be the northstar of any web3 project, but I dont think we have to advance the current model so that projects design token launches that are not just pure extraction. ✌️.

On the other hand, tradfi stocks:. - pay dividends.- provide upside if the company grows 📈.- Public companies have a fiduciary duty to shareholders + disclose financials quarterly.- heavily regulated with lots of investor protection.

5 years down the line, most of these token massively underperformed, and users holding the bag have: . - The chance to vote on a protocol parameter change.- The hope that one day a token accrual mechanism appears.- Access to a discord to say GM.

During the ICO & airdrop era, projects raised massive sums thanks to magic internet money. Most of them:. a) Delivered 0 product value.b) Ignored token health with “it’s just governance” excuses.c) Sat on treasuries funding parties, grants & bloated teams.

Good ux feedback - user should never have to deal with gas ever again, its the cost of doing business and can be easily absorbed by the product.
@jessepollak @solana @base I think a simple wallet is easy. For example in phantom I can swap sol for ETH easily . Base needs a wallet you can swap from other chains and end up with base ETH. Also shouldn’t need to hold ETH or weth for gas. Swapping service should take it out of conversion . Eg: load.
