lessons from chasing unique before: - wasted time on overcomplicated features - no users, just “cool” ideas - overthinking now: copy what makes $100k/month apps, add 10% twist, launch quick what’s your take? unique or copy + execution + distribution?

why this idea: - validated niche (tons of girls search “de-bloat water tracker” or period bloating apps) - easy to ship fast in react native (my first mobile app) - plan: daily progress here + tiktok/reels for distribution (cute videos = virality)

hydration trackers exist everywhere (waterllama, plant nanny, etc) but i’m copying the core + adding: - cute mascot & girly design - focus on reducing bloating - reminders + progress vibes execution + better ui + marketing > pure originality

spent months chasing “unique” ideas thought i needed something completely new to win now i realize: copies win because distribution beats novelty every time starting a new app today to prove it
