Sad to hear about the death of BBC commentator John Motson, who commentated on 29 FA Cup finals. He also worked at 10 World Cups and 10 European Championships. In a 2017 interview, he said ''It's no coincidence that all the best football commentators have come through radio''.

In the 1975-76 season Rte showed Match of the Day on Sat nights after the Late Late show.There were only 2 games showed-3 on FA Cup weekends.John Motson and Barry Davies were nearly always the commentators.Great memories of Great Games and Players He introduced us to the stars.
