Ahead of our next Organised Fun Neurodivergent Cabaret Night on 1 November, I've written an article on the problems of demanding silence from live audiences.

Just under two weeks until we play External Donut at the Hope and Anchor (we're billed under a name we haven't used in years for some reason!). We're going to be doing a somewhat unusual set, which we hope'll be interesting.

I am not one for hyperbolic opinions* but @Youngfathers are, hands down, the best live band in Britain right now. *Ok - I am. But this one is right.

Doors at 7.30pm.Gary starts hosting at 8pm and the Awkward Silences are the first of the billed acts at 8.15.

We're cautiously optimistic we can set up card/online payments on the door but we've not tried the technology yet so you may want to bring cash at back-up! (Cash will also be slightly cheaper - tickets on the door will be £10 in cash or £12 with card as that costs us a bit) (2/3).

Organised Fun is tonight! You can still get your ticket for £10 (or £5 if low income or unwaged) at We'll take them off sale about 5pm so we can get a final list but you'll then be able to buy any remaining tickets on the door (1/2).
