Given feasibility concerns and uncertainty surrounding the prevalence of undiagnosed chronic HCV infection, an initial pilot programme should be considered.

We found that although once-off testing of people born between 1965 and 1985 would require a significant upfront cost, this represents value-for-money given the longer term prevention of disease complications.

Dx Testing = Right case, right time, right technology, right purpose. Great to see @HIQA rapid summary of this. Testing has limitations as mentioned in https://t.co/ASdTx7MjcG Don’t forget Hx and Sx very very important in interpreting tests. https://t.co/qwWBrcMuN1
