Jim Robson was one of the great legends of hockey broadcasting who treated me so well when I called my first NHL regular season game on October 4, 1991. He became a friend and was always a mentor to so many of us. My condolences to his family. He was a great man.
The Vancouver Canucks are devastated by the passing of legendary Canucks broadcaster Jim Robson, who passed away today at the age of 91.
