Today, I attended the Parliamentary Showcase for Solar Options for Schools Ltd at Portcullis House 🏛️ It was a great opportunity to connect with student stakeholders and partners, all focused on integrating solar energy into schools⚡

𝗦𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽𝘀, 𝗕𝗶𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 When it comes to climate change, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. Carbon Literacy is a great first stepping stone to building education and awareness. BUT, the truth is, real impact starts with small, consistent actions.

How much difference can one cup make? 🏗️ A single-use cup creates 0.11 kg of CO2. 🌎 Over a year, that’s 40 kg of CO2 per coffee lover If just 1 in 10 coffee drinkers made the switch, we’d cut 100,000 tons of CO2 a year. —that’s like taking 22,000 cars off the road 🚀

Outside my son's primary school, there’s a hand-drawn sign. No fancy design, no flashy fonts—just a powerful message from the kids asking parents to stop idling their cars. It’s imperfect, but it works 🌎

Concrete: The Second Most Used Material on Earth 🌍 It’s the second most consumed material on the planet—only after water! Concrete is responsible for 8% of global CO2 emissions. In a world striving for NZ, how can we reconsider our reliance on such high-impact materials? 🔧
