Saturday's historic photo (1877). This is the astonishing 'Leather Man' who between 1858 and 1889 walked a 365 mile circular route between the Connecticut and Hudson Rivers, beginning and ending his trip every January 1 somewhere along the Hudson. No one ever knew his name.
