Those people who burnt your house were not Boko Haram, they were Fulani militias. Not every militia group is Boko Haram. Most of the groups attacking the Middle Belt are of Fulani origin, Boko Haram consists of mostly Kanuris . I lived in Plateau during this period and witnessed

I donât see any issue here, since religion in Taraba remains a matter of personal choice. The Muslim Council of Taraba State directives carry only moral and religious weight, and consequences for breach in the future are:. - Refusing to conduct the Nikah (Islamic marriage) of.

In the next century many Middle Belt languages and cultures will go extinct; they would be assimilated. Those who donât take proactive steps to protect their cultural identities would lose them. Our young people need to de-emphasize Hausa as much as possible and promote their.
Speak your native language to your children or watch it die within the next twenty years. Looking down on your relatives whose children speak your native languages because yours speaks perfect English is stupid. Thats like being proud of borrowed clothes.

The Sudan United Mission (SUM) missionaries in the Middle Belt admitted that they made a mistake with âspreading Christianity in Hausa languageâ and not the âmother tongue of the peopleâ. The Christian part of the Middle Belt must correct this colonial mistake

One of the first ever Middle Belt Muslims Mallam Bello Ijumu was interviewed by Rimamnde Kwewum Shawulu a former member of the Federal House of Representative from Taraba. Here is what Bello Ijumu said was the reason for them starting the Middle Belt
I am from Kogi State and I full fledged Middle Belter. Nobody made you King of Kogi to decide for us. If u have become Hausanized, just say it instead of disguising . Muslims in Kogi like Ahmadu Ali identify as Middle Belters just as Bello Ijumu in the 50s, core Muslims. Ignoramus.

I appreciate that General Shipi has come out to clarify that he was misquoted out of context. The Middle Belt will not tolerate any distortion of its history .We welcome everyone to our areas as âresidentsâ . Indigeneity on the other hand is a completely different conversation.

These people arenât proud of their origins. These Fulani people keep disguising as us.They keep disguising as indigenes in Plateau, Adamawa, Taraba depending on the argument . Most of the time I just know .But if u look carefully enough you will see it
@patrickanum Who are my people. I am a Marghi minority from Adamawa state with a multi religious background. We don't hate our brothers because of religion. Hausas have lost more people to Fulani Herdsmen than any other tribe. As you can see them fighting them with their civilian JTF.

The moment I saw the video preventing her from leaving, I knew there was more to the story.
Another Eye witness report on the Ibom air incident, apparently the air hostess smashed her phone, labelled her a prostitute and even tried to incite that a pastor on board that spoke on behalf of Miss comfort was an accomplice

Nigeria is becoming more lawless as the days go by.Instead of focusing on governance, they are more focused on overreaching beyond their powers and media theatrics.
Honourable Minister; Neither an airline nor the Ministry of Aviation can lawfully impose an indefinite flight ban on a Nigerian citizen without a valid law and due process â usually via a court order. Doing so would breach constitutional rights and could be challenged in court.

I read such tweets and I just shake my head. I blame our people in the Middle Belt for giving the likes of this such audacity. If we were serious, we would have banned Hausa language in all our states by now. Itâs language familiarity that is giving these people the audacity to.
and here is the irony⌠Theyâve embraced the Hausa so deeply, itâs part of their daily life. Most tribe here speaks Hausa. Every community here speaks Hausa fluently, your Churches pray in Hausa, Markets trade in Hausa, Children learn Hausa before their mother tongue. Not sure.

What do you mean âthe people have embraced Hausa deeplyâ. They are multi cultural. They speak English, their native languages and Hausa the same way you speak English and Hausa.Maybe you have embraced English culture deeply?. Besides not all people in Plateau speak Hausa. Go to.

And before 1899, Plateau was completely separate from Bauchi. They lived independently of Bauchi and parts of the North. Ahmadu Bello recognized this in his book my life. Now try another talking point. This one is weak.
@patrickanum .Plateau province, which comprises Jos and Pankshin Division was carved out of Bauchi province in 1926 .From historical perspective jos and Pankshin should be identify as (core northerners) not even northerners.

Everything Fulani did was it equitable and good? .Why should I not talk of undoing them. You didnât give representation yet you want others to give you, and at the same time you defend your ancestors right to not give representation . You are confused.
Your entire rant proves one thing you donât want justice, you want revenge dressed up as history. You talk about âundoing Fulani legaciesâ like youâre cleansing evil, but really itâs about erasing an entire peopleâs place in Nigeria.
