Codex Max now available in the Copilot CLI. I gave it my canonical new model task (find CLI perf improvements). Max was the first model I've seen that identified a long standing instruction that is impacting our e2e runtime. Definitely worth spending some time with!

Excess is the new norm. GitHub Copilot CLI is about putting all the best models on your machine behind one tool.
I personally like to race agents. Sometimes for testing, sometimes for exploratory work or just adding a feature in. The future workflow is going to be faster than most people think is possible today.

Cancelled my Spotify account 4 months ago after importing everything into Apple Music and barely even notice today other than my brain being happier without the endless music on.

Opus 4.5 is now available in the Copilot CLI, at the same cost as Sonnet till Dec 5th. Great timing to do some hacking over Thanksgiving 🦃 Initial impression beyond benchmarks is that opus is both fast and hungry to consume context. In exchange solutions are more surgical.
