have seen this w how ppl flip flop between talking abt HMS dynamics as like. originally it was "mind is the evil one and heart is just getting bullied by him :(" then switched over to "heart is consciously just manipulative and mind is innocent" like yall.

and it often will. cycle back and forth.like woah characters can be . not a flawless person but also not just evil ?? a character can be irrational sometimes but still capable of being logical??? inconceivable.

often happens w like . ppl ignore a character's flaws to treat them as a nice fun silly guy :)) they're a great person , then ppl are like "hey you are kinda ignoring X and Y" then ppl start treating the character like they're an irredeemable monster.

the fandom tendency to misinterpret a character in 1 way for a while then people start complaining abt how that's misinterpretation, so the fandom starts misinterpreting them in the opposite direction 💀.
