i find it very funny that every time my brain is like "hey maybe we should try playing overwatch again!" the devs make comments that make me go back on that idea.

not lore, but the cycle of overwatch existing as a title. the "oddball" heroes are what made overwatch fun, fresh, and exciting. having no more heroes in the style of ball, winston, ram, ect may be "better for balance" but it just takes away from the charm.

the design philosophy changing this far into the overwatch lore makes it seem that they want to just make easier characters to pump more out to match the volume of characters that come out in other games but with less effort. .
New #Overwatch2 Hero Design Philosophy 👥. Blizzard is reportedly focusing on relatable heroes and moving away from "oddballs", though they plan to sprinkle in non-humans and tease exciting things ahead in that regard.

i just want one pokemon remake game in this style. please.
Some don't like the HD-2D style, but I love it. I want more developers to utilize it. There are MANY older Nintendo 1st Party games I'd like to see remade this way.
