September was a good month for watching movies.

Union Hall also great. Sloppy Comes A Time live show rehearsal. Sedan Delivery nearly entirely electric Rust Never Sleeps/Live Rust songs in a new order. Heard it all before, still some of my favourite music ever.

Staying up late listening to Neil Young's Archives vol. 3. Listened to Boarding House and Trans/Johnny's Island so far. Incredible stuff. The occasional introductions are a little weird though.

Sports are stupid

Disney's solution for recreating past successes is to do the same thing again, and again, and again. But each time, it gets more tired and more predictable. Without new ideas, or a willingness to take risks the whole thing will one day collapse up itself.

I'm not inherently opposed to Robert Downey Jr returning to the MCU, a lot of actors have returned to franchises with great results (e.g. Andy Serkis in Andor), but the way Marvel has approached Doomsday just reeks of desperation and decay.

this is like the Mandalorian and Grogu, but a Discovery spin off, so inherently better.

the only thing i dislike about this is that it's a streaming-only movie. Isn't it time for another good Star Trek movie to finally come out in theatres??
