Offaly won their last Leinster hurling title on this day in 1995. Still the standout game of all that I’ve been to, 30 years on.

Forgot to acknowledge this until now, but Offaly shocked Kilkenny to win their first Leinster hurling title 45 years ago yesterday. I spoke to Damien Martin and Pádraig Horan for the 40th anniversary five years ago.
