Brilliant experience playing Amhrán na bhFiann with @stjosephspb at Croke Park last Sunday ahead of Kerry-Armagh. Great, and much-needed, exposure for the pipe band scene with over 70,000 in attendance and a TV audience of close to 500,000. 🎶 🇮🇪 🏐

There hasn't been a bigger win in an All-Ireland semi-final since Kerry beat Monaghan by 22 points in 1979. Cork also beat Mayo by 20 points in 1993. #GAA.

That’s the heaviest defeat that the reigning champions have exited the championship with since Mayo beat Donegal by 16 points in 2013. #GAA.

First time since 1997 that the Dublin hurlers have outlasted the footballers in the championship. That year, the hurlers lost a Leinster semi-final to Kilkenny seven days after the footballers' Leinster quarter-final defeat to Meath. #GAA.

This is why a journalist always has to ask the question. Most of the time they’ll kick to touch and say it’s not for today, or even take offence. But occasionally they’ll tell you straight out like this.
🚨BREAKING🚨. Dessie Farrell confirms he is stepping down as Dublin manager after nearly six years in charge 👏. Football clips brought to you by @AIB_GAA . #TheToughest #DUBvTYR
