This is a deserved recognition of outstanding contributions to sports economics. I’m very lucky to know Dennis - as my academic co-advisor, colleague, mentor, and friend. His support, guidance and trolling have shaped not only my research but also my approach to academic life.

- In this paper, we study the impact of team masculinity on its performance in MLS. - Our proxy of masculinity is fWHR (facial-based metric). - Our results suggest a positive connection between the group’s average masculinity and its performance.
