Distance needs some reform. Three options: 1.) Either pay Jakob enough to show up. 2.) Add more athletes to fill the gaps. 3.) Add incentives for racers to be leading at certain moments. Preferably all three.
The two-race format gets another test, and Grant Fisher passes with flying colors ✅ The @grandslamtrack format yields fascinating results in the men’s Long Distance category, as a combination of kicker’s battles and brave front-running yields a win for Fisher and a runner-up

Outside of watching a WR happen in front of a sold out crowd at a diamond league.. I think @GrandSlamTrack was sooo much more entertaining then anything else that will happen before championship racing. Can stuff improve? Of course & it’s only going to get better!!

Next year @GrandSlamTrack should do a one day indoor meet to get people excited for the outdoor slams. 2026 will be THE defining year for GST I believe because of the lack of any real global championships

If it wasn’t for Jakob going for the 1500m & 5000m world records at the Diamond Leagues this year I think I’d easily vote for GST. Overall, still more excited to watch the GST battles.
