samson and jimmy are both leaders of their groups too, and have a female main companion. they were around the same age when the infection hit (i think samson was slightly older, maybe around 10 to jimmy’s 8). they also both have long hair, compared to kelson/ink’s shaved heads

maybe redundant, but red as a protective color in 28YL, Kelson and Kellie’s names being derived from the old english word for strength/mountain (Kell, though it has multiple meanings, like bare/bald or even well/water) and both of them protect Spike, and all three wear red

jimmy gave all the fingers gold chains as a status thing (the more markers they have to set them apart from others, the better) But it’s other purpose is so he can yank them around

Jimmy C is such a product of the late 20th/early 21st century imo. like if the infection broke out in the 1950s would some UK kid have projected that hard onto the flintstones? something tells me to doubt it. ppl back then lived more in the world of Things, instead of TV-land
