Georgie has read Black Vodka, a collection of Deborah Levy’s short stories. Being a loyalist for Levy’s non-fiction, reading her incisive perceptions in short fiction format is just as satisfying. 🖤. Also Levy’s essays, The Position of Spoons, have just come out in paperback :)

Yesterday, Anna spent a delightful couple of hours reading E. L. Konigsburg’s From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler, in which Claudia and her brother Jamie run away from home, move into the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and have various adventures. 🖼️
