Here's our final post on Twitter (it may be a π§΅) We'll leave this account up, but it will no longer be active. There are better platforms run by less fashy people, and from now on we'll be concentrating our efforts there. /1

Thanks to all the folk who've supported us here. No thanks whatsoever to Corporal Ket. Look after yourselves and we hope we'll see you elsewhere very soon. π

If you'd like to keep in touch β and we hope you will β you can find us where the skies are blue, as @pandemonialists. We're also active on Substack, we have a website (see profile) and we send out regular newsletters (sign up for those on the website). /2

One week till the first PASTA of the year at @Arena_Theatre. After that, we will be ceasing to post on this account. Corporal Ket can do one.

Almost time for the first PASTA of the year! This is our open-mic event at @Arena_Theatre in Wolverhampton. In the first half, it's poems on a theme (this time, festival); in the second half, poems on any subject. It's relaxed, it's friendly, and it's free. See you there! π

If you've followed us here over the past several years, thank you. Here's a reminder that we'll be ceasing to use this account in the next week or so (and posting reminders so you come and find us in the other place, because we don't want to lose touch). Thanks. π

Basically, we want to minimise our dealings with Corporal Ket, and we're tired of having bigoted right-wing nonsense pumped into our feed when what we want to do is promote and celebrate poetry. Life's too short for that hateful nonsense.

The Writers' Hub at @WolvesLitFest is all about giving local writers a platform to share their work. Right now, Tettenhall Writers are reading their work in public *for the first time*. It changes lives, and we are absolutely here for that. π #WeLoveWhatWeDo

Today, our role at @WolvesLitFest is all about facilitating the Writers' Hub, where local writers' groups get the chance to share their work at a series of free events from 11am till 6.30pm. Giving a platform to local talent and creativity is central to this festival. β€οΈ

Also, a massive shout out to the organisers of the whole festival, whose work often goes unrecognised. Likewise, the staff at @WolvArtGallery and at @Arena_Theatre, who play such an important role in making everyone welcome. You. Are. All. Stars. βββ

We had a blast yesterday at @WolvesLitFest. Huge thanks to all the artists who took part in our Fringe Room shows, to the poets who came along and shared their winning and shortlisted poems in the poetry competition event, and to the performers in our 'Stars of Slam'. π
