some people say 'i love you' with flowers. we said it with food. loud kitchens. burnt hands. a pot that never really leaves the stove. we grew up around noise, yelling, chopping, oil spitting like it was angry to be hot. but under all of it— there was care.

dan ini adalah restaurant yang cukup legend karna murah dan menunya yang timeless, one of my favorite menu to make is Baked Rice with cheese and Lasagna Soup.
here's some of the pics i took, you can tell how it's so lovely by looking at the big pot of homemade tomato paste that never really leaves the stove. the homemade pasta and we craft everything in here. i can't really took a much picture since it's prohibited and i respect that

i miss working in a small restaurant so bad bro it's literally feels like home.

this place was so warmth. not just from the oven, but in the way people sit close together, elbows brushing, laughing over plates of squid ink pasta or pizza dough puffed and blistered from the heat. charred just right, kissed by my hands. It’s not fancy, but it’s felt.

two years ago I worked at a small restaurant specializing in homemade pasta and italian dish. the kitchen was so small. like, barely-two-people small. the kind of place where you bump elbows and curse and laugh in the same breath.

It’s loud in here. the radio crackles, someone’s laughing, something’s boiling over. but it’s warm. It’s messy but lovely.

i make the green oil every morning with basil, garlic, olive oil while we coats the handmade pasta we roll on the old counter, flour dust in the air like light. tomatoes sit in the oven, confiting until they’re sweet and sinking in their skins, jarred while still warm.

smells of garlic hitting hot oil, basil crushed between fingers, and dough proofing slow in the warmth of the window. everyone was so busy in their own station and it was really good.
