A man was killed here last year in the bike lane as it is simply a painted line. Crushed by a gravel truck. To the credit of the city it is looking to upgrade things to prevent future such incidents. Then we have Dan, who is more concerned about parking than preventable deaths.
The “War on the Car” continues with MILLIONS to be spent removing hundreds of Parking spots and a driving lane for bikes on 26th Ave. I’ve heard the 15th Ave Bike Lane cost close to $1M per Block so wouldn’t Tax Dollars be better spent on Water Pipes??
