Back at the @Northlincmuseum for #fossilfriday making notes with photographs of the epifauna attached to elements of the Scunthorpe #pliosaur. Lots of #bivalve spat in various stages of life. Probably all Deltoideum delta (W. Smith). Their occurrence on more than one facet of the

Bositra buchii for #molluscmonday @keithduff21 proposed that it was bysally attached to floating organic matter (driftwood, algal fronds) the so-called "pendant" life habit. An abundant #bivalve species at many horizons within the Oxford Clay.
