It creates the impression of a stereotype or additional scrutiny being placed on Nigerian professionals and businesses, despite our legitimacy and commitment to global standards.

I find it highly problematic that your banking partners would ask for such personal information, especially when it is not a standard part of the documentation required to process business payments.

The request not only caused delays but also raised red flags for my client, who ultimately withdrew from the transaction over concerns about privacy and data protection. This is particularly disappointing given d level of professionalism and effort invested in building trust.

Unfortunately, due to your requirement for my client’s date of birth—a sensitive and confidential piece of information not stated in any prior agreement or invoice—I have lost an international client.
