This is why we design and build. We control the whole process, and in doing so allow our crew to engage the whole of themselves and flourish. The results speak for themselves.

Get busying living, or get busy dying. Bemoaning the lack of good works gets you nowhere. You, yes you, can make a difference. You can do things!
@orthodoxmason @1000yearhouse I really can't believe how much this "school" of brick work has been multiplying into great people working all over. When people say "oh nobody can do that" all it takes to change the tide is a few people willing to learn, and then they teach, and so on.

Pure poetry.

You can just go meet folks and play board games at your local library, nobody will stop you.

Many thanks to @JimmyRis for patiently reading the instructions and confirming that yes, they do say to do the very bad thing. We will not do that of course :)

Five year warranty, you don’t say? Funny, that’s how long I’d give those boards before they rot out in such a situation…

Parents, please check your kids Halloween candy carefully! A company tried to sneak in a failing flashing connection into this kit design. Helping a good friend put up one of them outdoor pavilion kits and ran into the most bass ackwards of things. I’m too tired for this.

Little retaining wall with a lot going on. Alcove shelf by the stairs will houses a plant and really bring that wall end together nicely. We’ll come back and install a curved railing later.

I hit it twice with a 4lb hammer. Second time, I about threw up. Check it, it’s fine just bruised, go on a work a full day with guys who are a joy and delight to work with. I did have Seth finish up the last bit of chiseling for me :)
