Important paper: In patients with cancer and venous thrombosis, extended anticoagulation with low dose Apixaban is as good as full dose Apixaban in preventing thrombosis recurrence and is associated with less bleeding. https://t.co/J6SFRIky9Y

Made me remember @Taramord !!
Have you ever met anyone born on the same day of the same year as you? In several decades π, I never have. But just met a chap in the pub who was. It was a little unsettling! Happy birthday for next week, Craig!

It's great that many of you see magistrates as volunteers! They are trained, unpaid volunteers who give back to their communities by hearing cases in their local courts. Read more on how magistrates benefit society: https://t.co/KAIjsiXlAi

It's Volunteers' Week and we're really proud of the work that our members do in their communities. But when you think of a magistrate, do you think of them as volunteers at all?

Zach Eckersley was told on Monday evening that he'd be playing at Wembley. He repaid that faith with a try on the biggest stage in only his fifth senior appearance for the club. A moment the youngster will never forget. #wwrl

Great to reach this milestone today. We're taking early steps, but digitising our community prescribing in CRT is a great start. Will be a game changer for staff and patients.
Our first @WWLNHS test prescriptions sent from our community services into the national EPS/ETP system. Great milestone achieved @Tulika76 @WWL_CRT . Will be big benefit and improved experience for patients and staff. First real patients using in the next few months.

We are very concerned about the lack of information we and our members have had on Operation Early Dawn β invoked by the government yesterday evening, to deal with prison overcrowding by delaying cases in the magistratesβ courts. Read our statement:

Experimentation ("trying stuff & seeing what happens") is such a key part of change. In most social change situations, we can't be sure about cause & effect until we give things a go. Every context is unique so we need to try out even other people's "good practice" to make it
