While I sympathize with these sentiments, to deny the possibility of a miracle is to deny the very existence of life itself. Whether you’re religious or an atheist, the fact that we exist is unfathomable. Miracles can and do happen when people join together.
As I watch genocide & see heat records smashed, I don’t rate humanity’s chance of survival above zero. I don’t know when mankind lost its morality but I know it has. We carry on regardless in a state of denial as if it’s not happening, knowing that to our shame, it really is.
