This is some very good work ! If like us you try to help out with @MakervsvirusO by #3dprinting #faceshields , this could come in very handy ! Really awesome tool you created @paul_hayes , well done !
Thanks @openjscad for a great library. We've used it to make an online 3d model customiser for protective visors https://t.co/S6xMgawzej src here

Important note : V1 is end of the line, but V2 is a while away still we had to push something out to enable embedding (one of the most requested features) and a critical bugfix.

v1.10.0 of #jscad #openjscad web released (also new versions for the CLI etc) https://t.co/CA8MtPXxkj - umd build for embedding the web version, thanks to @johnwebbcole ! - a critical fix for one of the dependencies that could break fresh npm installs

slowly but surely we are getting there !
I was going nuts trying to map out parts of the modular (pun intended) loading mechanisms for @openjscad V2 in web vs CLI , so a bit of @inkscape later, not sure I solved anything , but at least things are clearer

would you like to be able to import external formats like this : const frog = require('./data/frog-OwenCollins.stl')

we would love your feedback on this: how does this api seem to import external file formats ?
experimented with #require.extensions for @openjscad this works const frog = require('./data/frog-OwenCollins.stl') I am torn, it makes importing external files as csg data extremely simple and seamless , but is importing data like that the role of a #module system ?

extremely easily sharing your jscad designs with other people is around the corner :)
so so happy ! finally took a few hours to hack up experimental @dat_project support for opening @openjscad designs in @BeakerBrowser ! (look at the address bar , that is a dat uri !) this is for the pre-pre-pre alpha of jscad V2 and barebones, but this is fantastic !

what is does NOT: - does not contain a text editor ! ie you have to drag & drop your own local files - this does NOT contain any api upgrades yet ! - 3d viewer has lots of known bugs (only basics work !) - importing of external formats is NOT working at this stage

what it does: - This version enables you to drag & drop cjs module based designs in the browser ! - features an almost totally rewritten internal structure & logic - you can export to different file formats , as in the current version - paves the way to all the new V2 features

Hi everyone! We have finally put a pre-pre-pre alpha version of @openjscad V2 online at https://t.co/Ka2iqm3gkJ ! It is still quite rough around the edges but the bulk of the changes is in there ! This version enables you to drag & drop common.js module based designs online !

Hi folks ! To give you more in depth information about V2, to get clear ideas/ gather feedback: the first JSCAD blog post, about the changes to the way transforms (translate, rotate, scale) etc will be handled https://t.co/UxRKFDfZeO Feedback & comments are appreciated !

this is great, and a good reminder that we need to add .obj export :)
"Figure Eight Knot" Source = https://t.co/J5jcFS9xmK 1. @geogebra
https://t.co/CYBuCh3VJt 2. .stl from OpenJSCAD 3. .obj from @tinkercad 4. #3dprinted (and cleaned up support material)! #MTBoS #iteachmath

this design is also done to improve the UI & core of the next major release of #jscad , and is created using ES6 features & node modules to keep code size manageable.
almost done designing a fully parametric version of the super nice #SMARS robot ( https://t.co/hp83CpcqI9) in + https://t.co/QFw3JWSL1r !
