I liked rintaro as a character and I thought he was real sweet but I couldn’t help but bc it’s shonen I didn’t feel identified or spoken to like in shojo . The FL felt cut and paste to me. I only read 3 vols but i struggled to connect to her. Her friend felt more real to me tbh.

I might be (and most definitely) be an outlier here but I very rarely enjoy colored webcomics and printed ones. There’s something about black and white aside from its ease on the eyes that I seriously enjoy and I feel like has certain strengths that help story telling a lot.

If it was true that people prefer their comics colored then manga wouldn’t be popular at all in North America . Like I get the critique that my work would be better colored but I really feel like my work shines more in black and white

It’s definitely scary to attempt to fund this project, but I feel more ready than ever to do so. Gotta do it for the shojo/josei community 🤧.

I met my personally goal of creating and completing a oneshot (that’s on GlobalComix btw 👀). But I’m ready to move forward and run a Kickstarter to fund my first volume 🫣 I’m nervous but excited! I got a lot of positive reception to it after I printed a few of my vol 0 🙏🏼
The first half of the year is officially over. Have you met any of your comic or manga making goals yet? Which ones are you still working on?.
