The fact that you think $100 for 6 hours of my time is sufficient renumeration for this fiasco is insulting. I will be making my airline choices differently due to this unnecessary situation.

The lack of information provided, the blame on air traffic control not being able to find a flight path, (seriously???) the 6 hours spent trapped on a plane where we were told if we left we may not be able to get back on was beyond ridiculous.

We were only provided with one small cup of water during the entire ordeal. No snack was provided and according to what I’m reading for the DOT that is required and should have been provided

The person who had that information was at the bridge, off the plane, and we would have to leave the plane without a guarantee of getting back on to get any actual answers. The same response was given to what would happen to our checked baggage.

such as, if we leave the plane to go stretch, eat (flight time was during traditional dinner time), or use a normal sized bathroom, could we get back on the plane? “I do not have that information” was the repeated response.

Somewhere at the two hour mark, the plane was brought back to the gate. Unfortunately, the personnel on board the aircraft could not provide any verifiable information,

Dear @SouthwestAir ; While I appreciate your proactive communication, the “extended” time delay you referred to, was when passengers were essentially held hostage on the airplane was between 5-6 hours, for a 1 hour flight.

PSA! DO NOT buy @Walmart gift cards online! They ship them to recipient without activating them, cannot be fixed over the phone. Now have to wait 24-48 hours for "Gift Card Team" to look into it! Humiliated that the gift I sent casued someone who needed help more hassle!
