@weirdbeingg
I USED TO READ AND WATCH HORRID HENRY ALLLL THE TIME AT SCHOOL WHEN I WAS YOUNGER AND I REMEMBER I WOULD JUST ALWAYS BE ANGRY FOR THUS EXACT REASON HE'S JUST A LITTTLE KID 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
@6arbiedoll
honestly something about the term gentle parenting rubs me the wrong way? it feels weird to take this style of parenting which essentially boils down to just treating a child with basic respect and give it a special term as if it's abnormal or something
it makes it sound like a +
@lesbianhazelnut
i agree but uh hey maybe let's not blame people for not recognising that this is weird behaviour when the entire point of this behaviour is that nobody is Supposed to notice that something is wrong (not directed at you specifically + sorry if i didn't explain this well)
@kyoryuv
this is obviously meant to be a dream sequence but seeing some of the other things that happen in this show i can totally see this just being a normal every day thing
@dawnie_star
it's also probably a little ableist? a lot of mental illnesses, disorders, and neurodivergencies cause people to "lose their cool" under stressful situations (such as an argument) due to being overwhelmed and/or overstimulated
I love it when two characters are so obviously designed from the ground up to be a Pair. Like their appearances were so obviously designed to match and look good next to each other.
@lesbianhazelnut
btw i'm leaving this here for anyone confused and, again, there're no need to feel ashamed if you missed any of this or didn't notice it <3
@kissinglesson
the way we're introduced to her with her whole joke in that episode being the fact that her last name is princess despite not being one and then her last appearance has her revealing that doctor is just her first name is probably one of the best payoffs i've ever seen
I try to enjoy Creek as much as the fandom does but seriously, I find this scene DISGUSTING
the way he touches Poppy while smiling at her and thinks they should thank them because they will die with a clear conscience, I can't stand this asshole
this display at my school used to say "never trust an atom, they make up everything" but the punchline is gone now so now it just sounds like a desperate warning
@6arbiedoll
+ "brand new parenting fad!!!" that's gonna die out eventually when it's really just, like i said, treating children with respect
i don't know if i explained this well but y'know
@AO400_
@horrifichymns
@Trixxiest1X
i hope this makes sense! i tried my best to explain it
also, don't feel bad for thinking this is just a normal interaction between friends and not noticing all of iffy signs because that's kinda the whole point
THE LINE DELIVERY OF "i'm just glad you're safe" AND THE WAY HE LIKE PUTS HIS HAND TO HIS FOREHEAD AND AND AND HE MUST'VE BEEN SO SCARED I FEEL LIGHTHEADED
