Motorized conveyor belt with adjustable speed. Students control a “car” that has an ultrasonic sensor to signal when an obstacle has been detected. The design also includes lights and a servo controlled speedometer. @birdbraintech @microbit_edu

The Underground Utopia project has inspired scale models of survival bunkers, a large (and rather frightening) cross-bow, and a motorized LEGO butter churn. There are plans to run the butter churn with solar power on Friday, weather permitting.
