Our film Barir Naam Shahana is showing on Channel 4 tonight (well, tomorrow morning technically..) and streaming thereafter. Need I mention that it has a banging soundtrack by myself and @sohinialam ? Also with a spooky contribution from one Rollins Weeks (8).

We are over the moon to share that our film Barir Naam Shahana (A House Named Shahana) by @LeesaGazi will air on @Channel4 on 13 September at 1:25 a.m. as part of South Asian Film Season 2024. It will be available on Channel 4 streaming post-transmission. Great soundtrack, too..

A great review of the new Khiyo album in Songlines. Guitar-wise, it's always nice to be compared to Martin Carthy.. "Weeks' inventive guitar work on 'Riniki Jhiniki' could be mistaken for Nic Jones or Martin Carthy were it not for the subtle shifts into Eastern harmony."
