(Talking to myself as much as anyone) One thing I have tried to just tell myself with any TCG gripe I have is....it's a freaking trading card game. A luxury hobby. Just chill it's not that deep. Everyone is just trying to enjoy their passion, whether as a worker or player.

Shitposting aside, I think it’s a real issue that the player base likes classic constructed so much that any other format is going to be disappointing and I kinda do think the only real way out of it is continually making good limited sets. Or finally shipping pve I guess.

I have no idea how people get to a high level at card games with big ADHD issues. Had to ask opponents half a dozen times in side events over the weekend if I could re-look at my compass trigger because I kept forgetting what was on top 5 seconds after putting the card back down.

Not an LL hater in any real sense but going back to CC after halfheartedly grinding LL in prep for the calling I think really makes me appreciate the place the game is in now as opposed to where it was a few years ago.
