This movie needed more time to cook than that damn Rancor/Baluga head hybrid.
Audiences have spoken!!!.And they are not feeling the #JurassicWorld renaissance as much as #ScarlettJohansson would hope them to, with moviegoers giving #JurassicWorldRebirth a B #CinemaScore, terrible for PG-13 blockbusters & #2 lowest for #JurassicPark franchise, under:

This movie looks amazing and a lot of emphasis on the practical sets and props which I love.

I don’t know if the artist are more skilled but it’s definitely cost related. No matter how good cgi may get it is simply intangible (nothing is there) and there is no way to authentically bridge that gap in the human mind.
Part of the magic of the Original JP was the use of physical animatronics mixed with CGI. It’s interesting to us that decades later these effects, or older Disney Animatronics, feel more alive than what we get today? Was it simply more skilled artists at work?
