Osaka is known as a merchant city, so typical and merchant-type characters in Japan are often made to speak in Kansai dialect. I think it was meant to contrast with Azul, he is a tooo polite and elegant merchant.🤔

for example, ○“How much is it?” normal: 「これはいくらですか？」 Kansai dialect: 「これなんぼ？」 ○“I‘ll off with your head!” normal: 「首をはねてしまうよ！」 Kansai: 「首をはねてまうで！」 But I don’t want to see Riddle’s speaking Kansai dialect😅😅

But Yuu mentioned that he is from Wakayama(a bit south from Osaka), perhaps his speech is a little different from normal Kansai dialect. And then, Kansai dialect sounds like casual, friendly and active. But the endings and accents are different from standard Japanese🤔

I should post about Kansai dialect normally🤔 If you have a time, feel free to read these tips about Kansai dialect☺️ Since I’m not a Kansai dialect speaker, if there are incorrect informations, I apologize you😢 It’s spoken in the west side regions of Japan, such as Osaka.
