It might sound weird but one of the biggest things getting me through this year so far has been my Vital Bracelet. The simple joy of raising and collecting Digimon has been a huge boon to my mental health.

Shout out to my Trans friends and followers on #TransDayOfVisibility, y'all are cool as hell in my book. I will always respect a mfer who knows who they are and what they want from this life and fuck anyone who tries to tell you differently.

SCREAM VI was an absolute delight from start to finish. I loved it even more than SCREAM (2022). Really fantastic opening and quite possibly the best Rules scene in the franchise.

So we know that there’s a ‘visible mutations’ support group in X-Men, but is there a ‘from an alternate dystopian future’ support group? Do Cable, Bishop, Rachel, and Nate get together and try to one-up each other on how THEIR apocalyptic timeline was the worst one?

Iron Lad as a backer bonus? Corsair as the first stretch goal? Heck yes. At this point we’ve got a full Starjammers crew, some fantastic villains (Abomination! Titania and Absorbing Man!), and Monet is the next stretch goal! And we haven’t even seen expansion boxes yet!

I usually stay away from Kickstarter because if I didn’t I’d spend all my money there. However, last year I got caught up in CMON’s X-Men United campaign and it was awesome. The new Marvel United campaign launched yesterday and it has got me SO EXCITED already.

Saw a (very helpful) image going around a few days ago about what you need to start PF2E. It listed Adventure Paths/Modules as a necessity, which got me wondering: how many people only/mostly play published adventures as opposed to homebrew campaigns?

I wrote this over a year ago, so it’s a bit outdated, but with all the recent interest in #Pathfinder2e I thought I’d share it as an example of how cool character-building is: you can build Superman if you want to! https://t.co/WrCjUNxcnv

I love creators like Monster Monday and Danger Rooms & Dragons that use tabletop systems like Pathfinder 2E and D&D 5E to create beloved pop culture characters (and monsters). I decided I…

I’ve got work work to do but you know what? It’s Friday the 13th, I’m gonna take a long lunch, pop some popcorn, and finally watch PEARL

Oh, and the other party members are an amnesiac magical assassin (Fetchling Rogue/Magus multiclass) and a living skeleton trying to break the myriad curses afflicting itself (Skeleton Thaumaturge w/ Curse Maelstrom archetype). Just so many cool options in this game!

As in, a big sentient cob of corn in roughly the shape of a dog. There’s a plant-based animal companion available, so that’s her corn-dog now!

For instance: in an upcoming game she wanted to be “a little plant woman who can shapeshift into big topiary animals,” so I built her a wildshaping Leshy Druid; the game is using the free archetype rule so I also gave her Beastmaster so that she could have “a pet corn-dog.”

It’s a really fun way for us to collaborate—she can come up with a character concept without feeling like she has to read a ton of rulebooks, and I can work on builds I’d never have thought of on my own.

My wife likes playing TTRPGs but doesn’t love building a character. I love putting together characters. One of the fun things about #Pathfinder2e is that I can go, “What kind of character do you want to play?” And the system is so flexible that I can build whatever she says.

Been a minute since I listened to Wish You Were Here and I kind of forgot how bleak Welcome to the Machine is. “What did you dream?/It’s alright, we told you what to dream” is a shiver-inducing line.

Thanks to my wife and a very good friend, I now own a shirt emblazoned with Amuro eating a sandwich. It is my most prized possession and I will be wearing it forever
