THE JOURNEY BEGINS!. Our Academy’s newest and youngest recruits came together at KDM EEP tonight to sign their registration forms for the coming season. The boys, all born in 2015 will play in the Club Academy Scotland U11s games programme. Welcome to the DAFC family!

Tonight’s draw was done in the DAFC Boardroom where committee members of the Friends of the Pars Academy had met with CEO/CHAIRMAN David Cook to discuss how best funds raised could be used to enhance our Academy players’ experiences in the Academy

Tonight our U12s played against Hearts and the team’s performance against an Elite level club was great to watch. Credit is due to Barrie Malcolm our Head of Childrens and our academy scouts for putting together such a talented group of players.

Last night at Hampden, Lewis Briggs was presented with his ‘cap’ for representing the Scottish Schools U18 team. The squad won this year’s Centenary Shield. Congratulations Lewis!!

U18s.Ayr Utd…. 0.DAFC……. 3.A 1st half goal by Liam Middleton followed up by goals from Lucas Fyfe and James Gordon in the 2nd half, saw the young Pars take all 3 points at Cumnock. Lewis Briggs saved a last minute penalty to earn a clean sheet.

7 of our U12s made it through to the final trial for the SFA PERFORMANCE schools. Congratulations to Jace Savage, Lewis Marsh, Cole Patrick and Oliver Sandeman who have now been offered a place.

DAFC U18s. 1.Dundee U18s . 1.Tonight's game v SFA Youth Cup finalists Dundee U18s ended 1-1. L. Fyfe gave the young Pars a deserved 1-0 lead at half time thanks to an assist from L. Middleton. Dundee came back strongly in the 2nd half and drew level late in the game.

Ross County…. 2.DAFC………………2.1st half goals from Middleton and Fyfe gave the young Pars a 2-0 lead at the break. Adamson was harshly sent off in the 46th min for what the ref deemed a ‘last man’ foul. County used the numerical advantage to score twice in the 2nd half.
