It is stated, in the request for remand form 242, that he failed to “ avail his traveling documents to the police ” and therefore they fear that if released, he might flee. He has to apply for bail in the High Court. He will back in court on 24 October 2025.
He has now been charged with murder. The police have advanced strong reasons for opposing bail. I will not get into details since it’s a matter for consideration by the courts. @PoliceZimbabwe has done well in ensuring that the matter is brought before the courts on time.

There are many loopholes here but I will wait for the charge sheet which is inevitable. I am concerned about the use of a derogatory term ‘gangster’ against the deceased. It summarizes the inhumane & degrading treatment our people are subjected to, by the Chinese companies.
