There are effective methods to promote survival of Red Wolves. Cloning isn't one of them. The leading threats to Red Wolf survival are vehicle collisions + shooting deaths. Cloning cannot protect Red Wolves from cars or bullets, nor increase human empathy.

Conservationists and former USFWS biologists have argued that Mexican wolves should be allowed to spread more widely. They are an endangered native species, and they belong on southwestern landscapes. The Kendrick Peak Pack should be allowed to stay!
