and between new faces and familiar ones, i've taken to baking a lot more again. a fresh batch of chocolate chip cookies just put in the oven. feel free to stop by and have a taste.

but really—who could resist such cute faces? i'm just grateful they allow me in their space. even if i'm the one paying rent. grateful for the warmth, the trust, the quiet companionship.

crowded with soft meows (and angry ones), curious eyes, and the gentle chaos of company. not a day goes by where i turn around and i don't have two tails looping around my legs, a silent plea for treats and attention. and sometimes.. i give in. more than i probably should.

hard at work at rito's café, where the days have begun to feel warm and fulfilling again. over the past few weeks, i've found myself open my doors for more strays. a place for them to land and experience softness. slowly but surely—the café has grown lively once more.
