Thank God the kids are at home 🤪
Happy Weekend everyone! Life is too short to always be serious. Enjoy and have fun!
Today was a very special day - my husband took ọzọ title and I officially became Lolo. Call me Anyanwụ ụtụtụ bikọ, odiro easy! More pics and videos to follow!
Mu na dim - early morning walk through the village. This is the best time of the day, when everywhere is still quiet.
You will be meeting neighbors and friends on the road and enjoy the beauty of nature.
After several months, the kids finally had a chance to reunite with their beloved grandmother and uncle. Though they were suspecting they would be coming, the surprise was huge and the love was overwhelming!

Welcome to Ala Igbo ndi ọgọ…
14 years today,
@ezenwaisuofia
asked me for my number in a club in Zürich. “If God wants it, we will meet again” was my reply. Two days later our paths crossed once again - “coincidentally”! God had a plan for us ❤️ What is meant to be is meant to be!
Bring them home
It is YOUR responsibility to bring your kids home. Those so called „European Investments“ or „Lagos brought ups“ deserve to know their roots. The only one making them a „lost generation“ is unintentional parents!
See how happy they are - a son that knows…

After 14 years of enjoying the vibrant soul of Ala Igbo by myself, I finally had the privilege of introducing my mother and brother to the local market's heartbeat in Isuofia on Orie Day. Seeing the unparalleled warmth and…

In Igbo culture, the first-born child, particularly the first-born son, holds a special position of responsibility and respect within the family.

10 years of answering my best friends name!
Happy anniversary to us my love - you are the best thing that ever happened to me (apart from ofe egwusi and ji ahurahu 🤣)

Chief is back - only one week but it felt like forever! I The way I miss this man when he is not around, I don’t know the kind of love poison he gave me. After so many years 🥰

We came to the Golden Tulip Hotel in Agulu for a Weekend refreshement. The hotel has a big sit out with a tennis court, pool table and a small football field but most importantly (for the kids), a really big Swimming pool. A great place to get away and relax…
In as much as I wanted to share the exciting news of my pregnancy with the world, I decided to listen to Ezenwa’s advice and keep it a secret until birth. There would have been many stories to share, but I also came to appreciate that only close family and friends were informed.
It is not easy to teach your kids about your language and culture in the diaspora, mana dim oma is really trying. Even Brutus was carefully listening 🤣 But the "kai kai kai" part got me thinking - is this really a children's song 🥃🥃🥃
If Ezenwa and I did a special YouTube Series answering some questions from you guys or discussing a specific topic, what topic/questions would you like us to talk about?
The spirit of Biafra is still very much alive in Ala Igbo. Not in the school curriculum but in the heart of the people. You can kill the soldiers and silence the people but the wish for freedom, peace and justice will prevail.

Time to say goodbye…
It was wonderful, having my family here and showing them some of the reasons Ala Igbo has become my second home!
They are going back with wonderful memories, inspired by the people’s resilience, warmth, and welcoming spirit. Until we meet again! Ije oma 🥰
When God has a plan for you, you better embrace it.
It might not make sense in the beginning, but if you take the risk to ride with it, spectacular things can happen!
I am very grateful for having you in my life. It was meant to be. Afurum gi nanya dim oma!
They called it a European Investment. They thought this one was coming to pass. I might be the first oyinbo to marry in St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Isuofia but I am surely not the last. Love knows no colour. Afurum gi n'anya dim ọma. Happy wedding anniversary
Yes, I am white and truly believe that Mixed cultured relationships can work! But men talking bad about Black women and writing me they want to marry onye ocha are totally missing the point! A successful marriage is not about skin color - it’s about love and understanding!
Happy birthday, my ever-so-„slightly“ older “Sugar Daddy Mo”! 🎉
Here’s to more years of roasting you about your age while we continue this crazy journey together. May the wrinkles be few, and the laughter be many! 🎂😘🎈
I’m ready for any adventure you have in store for us,…
People have become more afraid of SARS (Special Anti-Robbery Squad) than they are afraid of Robbers.
We deserve to be protected, not threatened.

Chijioke, Ziora, Uchenna and Nnanyereugo proudly wearing their school uniform! Holidays are definitely over - it’s time to get used to the Ala Igbo school system!
When we met, Ezenwa told me that he would never buy me flowers - and he never did up until today! I was upset until I understood that showing love is a 365 day project that can't be compensated with a one day gift!
I drove to the pharmacy today with my windows down because the AC was not working. As I passed two young boys that were looking at me driving in surprise, I overhead one tell the other: Heee nekwe client!
Haba ọ ma kwa onye m bu! Client kwa!?!🤣🤣🤣🤣

Uchenna sitting next to an impressively large Ukwa.
The day a similar Ukwa fell down from a tree on our land (the one Uchenna will eventually inherit from his father) he was so excited! He had already planned out who will peel out the Ukwa die him and dry them so that…
I have never seen a country with more churches than Nigeria. Name the whole Alphabet you will find a church to it. Yet people suffer from bad roads, lack of security, poor healthcare and bad governance.
What a day to remember: Uche's first ever win at a Schwingen competition and Chijioke's second recognition!
Read more about their great accomplishments in Schwingen and what Fufu has to do with it in my latest blogpost:
I had the privilege to meet Queen Theresa Onuorah yesterday. What a voice, what a personality, what a Queen😘
I have actually met her back in 2008 in ISUOFIA but she will probably not remember.
Long before she featured in Larry Gaga’s song, this woman has promoted Igbo music…
All the support and love we have received from our friends and family yesterday made this day very special! We are truly blessed and would like to thank everyone that contributed to the successful celebration of Nze Ezeanyị Ezenwa n'Isuofia and Lolo Anyanwu Ụtụtụ!
Face the sun and the shadows will fall behind!
It is not easy to expose your life to total strangers. There will always be someone disliking what you do. But I am totally blown away by the love I am receiving from you all and I appreciate every single one of you. Imela nke ụkwụ
Returning home after months abroad, we removed our shoes to feel the earth beneath our feet—a connection to Ala, the guardian of this land. The palm tree, once a sapling, now a towering emblem of time’s journey, greeted us.
In our children’s eyes, we saw their father’s Igbo…
This Senate is amazing - proudly made in Aba! It looks good on men and women - don’t you think?
Ezenwa knows what suits his wife - thank you my love for the gift 🎁

We did it! Our first ever live interview with the one and only Afia TV.

Bringing the kids to Nigeria was a very intentional act. Let them be Igbo by experience, not by hear say. Spending time and playing with their cousins # is definitely part of it. Let the kids be kids. They will still have enough time to be grown ups!…

was truly a double blessing. And it has been a blessing ever since!Looking back I can’t help but being grateful that you came into our lives
Happy birthday to me 🔆🎉☀️
I have always been confident and outspoken, but looking back I can proudly say, that I have grown in so many ways.
From a little girl to a mother, from being single to being a wife, from imagination to accomplishment. But some things haven’t changed:
Ofu nna ofu nne ❤️
I've come across many fascinating and funny cultural differences between Igbo and Swiss culture. One of which is in the way we use the term "brother".
We come together and stand up for what is right! The Diaspora can’t remain silent. We ask for justice, good governance and a country where we can be safe and live in peace. This is not about tribe or religion - this is about human rights and the future of our children!

Nobody can predict the future, but I am pretty sure this man will still be by my side when we are old!!! Swipe to see what that will look like 😂😂😂😂

Proud Igbo boy
The benefits of taking your kids home regularly can be very subliminal.
It’s carnival time in Switzerland and the kids are allowed to dress up to go to school.
Most boys would use the occasion to dress up as their super heroes (Spider man, Hulk or Ronaldo).
Happy birthday Uchenna
You are truly made for big things. Happy birthday UC!
You turned 9 years yesterday and I can’t wait to see what this life still has in store for you 🫶
May God always protect you on your way and may you always keep your wonderful spirit, confidence…
@MrBlackOG
Out of my experience, it depends on where you are!
In Switzerland: Stop driving immediately and let them tow your car to the nearest mechanic.
In Nigeria: Your car is working perfectly fine- keep driving 🤣🤣🤣 even Lagos to East (no wahala)

Thanks to our dear friend…

Ezenwa has always been very intentional about me becoming a part of his culture and learning his language. While some people are afraid that once their foreign partner understands their language, they won’t be able to have secrets again …
