In an instant classic, the Franklin Knights booked their ticket to Hershey to compete for the PIAA Class 3A state championship! The top 2 seeds from District 10 met in a heavyweight battle, and the Knights came out on top over Girard in front of a packed McComb Fieldhouse.

Franklin’s foursome in the Class 2A boys 400 freestyle relay medaled fourth (3:12.62) and Cathedral Prep fifth (3:14.33). That was the last championship race for the boys portion of this weekend’s small-school state meet at Bucknell University’s Kinney Natatorium.
