Friday 15 March saw the official opening of the Learning Hub on St Michael’s Mount, the new dedicated space for learning and education on the island. The Hub provides an indoor base where Cornish schools and learning groups can gather to discover more about the magic of the Mount

Due to the recent high winds and resulting poor sea conditions, St Michael’s Mount will close early on Thursday the 28th September 2023. The island will open as usual at 09:15 with last admissions into the Castle at 11:30. The island will close at 12:45 🌊 🌊 🌊

Due to the forecasted high winds and poor sea conditions, the island will be closed all day on Tuesday 19 September and on the morning of Wednesday 20 September 2023. The island will reopen on the afternoon of Wednesday 20 September at 14:00. See website for more details.

St Michael’s Mount will light up in red for Cornwall Air Ambulance on Thursday 7th September from dusk until 11pm. We hope to raise awareness of the lifesaving work of Cornwall Air Ambulance and we know this will be close to the hearts of so many people ❤️

🚨Mount Closure🚨 Due to high winds and poor sea conditions, the island will be closed on Weds 2 August. All tickets will be refunded in full. We know this is disappointing for those who wished to visit, but as safety is our priority we must take steps to mitigate any risks.

On Thursday, 20 July the Wave Rangers installation in St Anthony’s Gardens officially opened. A unique collaboration between pupils from Nancealverne School, The Wave Project, Cornwall Wildlife Trust, St Aubyn Estates, Jubilee Pool, Michael Harvey, Amelia Berkely and the RSPB.

‘Len’s Light’ arrives at St Michael’s Mount, 3:30pm Wednesday 19 July. A tractor has set off on a 2,000-mile journey from John O’ Groats to Land’s End as part of the ‘Len’s Light’ campaign, launched to shed light on mental health struggles within rural communities.
