Today was my official 1st day back to school w/ students. 🖍️📚✏️Starting my 22nd year. I’m really feeling those years. I’m beyond exhausted. 😂I love setting up a welcoming classroom. The walls will soon be filled with student work. I’m looking forward to seeing them shine. ✨

Yesterday was a great day for @RomolandSD welcome back event. It was inspiring to connect with many passionate educators during my writing PD session. @HarvestHawks Kindergarten team is ready for a fantastic and bright school year. #RomoShines 🌟

Hawaiin themed Kindergarten celebration day! Loved working with @HarvestHawks fabulous kindergarten team and students. It’s been a great school year. I don’t want it to end. ☺️ .Thankful for everyone’s support. 💗

Counting collections in action to help reinforce my @HarvestHawks students understanding of number sense, one-to-one correspondence, and counting a collection by making groups of 10. We have 8 more days of learning and we are enjoying every minute of it.

Today was a great day for @HarvestHawks Open House. Love creating a welcoming classroom environment, displaying my students’ work, and seeing families enjoy the evening. This is my favorite event of the school year. ✨

Hats off to @MenifeePD Officer Flores for reading to our @HarvestHawks kindergarten students. We enjoyed having you be our guest reader during Read Across America week. Our @RomolandSD students loved the stickers they got at the end of the read aloud.

#CABE2024 is off to a great start!

Our @HarvestHawks Kindergarten team is fantastic. We had a very successful holiday show. Collaborating with them is so much fun. Best of all is that all our kindergarten students are having similar learning experiences.

Frosty the Snowman was alive as he could be this afternoon at Harvest Valley Elementary. Proud of my @HarvestHawks kindergarteners. Thankful for parent volunteers who helped make our snowman costumes. With a magical hat and warm scarf, it all came together. Happy Holiday season.

It’s a wonderful feeling to help my @HarvestHawks students spread their wings and fly. Today I showed them how to access digital books in their level. They were so proud of themselves for reading several books of their choice independently.

Today my students were engaged in a very special lesson taught by @evolvesped. We learned that books are a treasure. Students practiced how to turn pages very carefully. It’s a treat collaborating with you Ms. Amoros. Looking forward to many more shared lessons this school year.

Number talks in action. How many dots do you see? How did you see them? My @HarvestHawks kindergarten mathematician communicated his thinking with us today. We enjoyed seeing and learning several ways of identifying the number of dots.
