One thing Wano has shown is no matter how cocky an opponent appears , if you’re strong enough you are 100% doing damage to them. Queen, Kaido and Big mom were all acting tough to discourage the worst generation. But they knew better & didn’t doubt their own strength even once

Episode 1067 did a great job of confirming that Big Mom did use Conqueror's Coating to negate the initial blast from Kid's Damned Punk. Many people questioned why she didn't use it more often, but this scene makes it clear that it's because she was underestimating them.
