They will accelerate the implementation of large-scale national programs by streamlining financial flows from multiple donors and connecting them directly to on-the-ground needs.

The initiatives, “Building Better Integrated Finance for SDG 1 and 2” and the “Climate-Resilient Social Protection and Smallholder Agriculture Finance Partnership,” are designed to break down the silos that have long hampered international aid efforts.

📅 Looking ahead, the Alliance will play a key role in major upcoming global events, including: .• The 4th International Conference on Financing for Development (FfD4) in Seville .• Preparations for COP30, linking hunger, poverty, and climate agendas.

This progress was highlighted during the second meeting of the Core Group of the Board of Champions, co-chaired by Spanish State Secretary @Eva_Granados and Brazilian Minister @wdiaspi, where members discussed how to operationalize decisions and further align global efforts.

Their purpose: mobilize coordinated financial and technical support to create real impact on the ground.

✅ Currently, 15 Fast Track plans are being developed in 13 countries, all created by the implementing governments to focus on large-scale programs embedded in national priorities and aligned with the policy basket.

Out of 13 Fast Track implementation planning processes initiated in March across member countries, six pre-plans have already been developed and validated — with others well underway.

Fast Track in Action: Delivering on the Promise to End Hunger and Poverty. The Global Alliance Against Hunger and Poverty is already turning commitments into concrete actions.
