Well this interview explains why he sounds so much more like himself this time around. Also said new Ptx album being worked on. Hinting to mostly originals. Which I know he said this before but he said they’re all re-recording.

Haha, the two totally different reactions from Scott and Mitch to Matt's crazy singing.

Of course I always listen to Mitch's voice in That's Christmas to Me, but hearing it without Kirsitn is showing how important her part really is for this song. Her higher soft tone is really missing here.
