at least in the US, I'd say it's a good idea to invest in silver while you can. Not an IRA but good old physical bullion. The paper value of silver in the west is being so obviously suppressed, especially compared to the Shanghai market that it's no surprise silver is

silver alone has risen ~8% in the past week, which is a huge shift in the day to day. If we look at in the past year, we went from $30 to $74, which is almost a 150% increase. we can almost consider the value of silver/gold to be indicative of the value of the local currency
