Both are in the game but in a safe form,non-romantic way. It doesn't feel like an active love story with a hint of an existing relationship,it feels like "people from the past" If it’s Ashley she doesn't need to be symbolized by charm because she's not a memory she's his present.

Ada’s charm is "cute bear." It's an emotional but neutral symbol. Not romantic, not marital. More of a personal memory. Claire’s charm is "trusted companion." This wording emphasizes union and partnership. It's closer to friendship/comradeship. And nothing with Ashley Graham.
